Fabricating engineering plant

BMH - Brandt's mechanical engineering workshop has the capability and capacity to handle most manufacturing requirements and specialises in the fabrication, fitting, painting and testing of light to medium sized metal products and machine shop parts.

A complete spectrum of engineering manufacturing operations is undertaken in well equipped workshops to produce a wide range of products such as conveyors, elevators, bag filters, wet scrubbers, electrostatic precipitators, steelwork, bins, chutes, ducting, etc.

The workshop combines all of the operations under one roof, starting with the storage of raw materials through fabrication, machining and fitting to finishing. This reduces the movement and transport of components moving from one operation to the next, improves efficiency, limits damage and reduces cost.

Raw materials, including steel plate, steel sections and stocks of pre-manufactured components, are available in the store-rooms.

A full range of fabrication equipment is available for sawing, cutting, guillotining, bending, boiler making, welding, etc. and machining capabilities include turning, drilling, milling and shaping. Final assembly and testing is done on site and finished products are out-loaded onto road transportation.

The staff of fully qualified and experienced operators have been providing customers with quality products for more than 25 years and have experience in all generally used construction materials, including mild and stainless steel, 3CR12, etc.
