Global Minerals share purchase

Bateman Engineering has been informed by Global Minerals B.V. that it has purchased an additional 4,479,846 shares in the Company at an average price of 165p per share.

Its shareholding in Bateman Engineering has therefore increased from 22,731,768 shares (52.01% of the total number of shares in issue) to 27,211,614 shares (62.26% of the total number of shares in issue).
