Management Change

The Board of Bateman Engineering today announces that the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), Mr. Jonathan Ben-Cnaan has given notice of his intention to resign from the Company in order to pursue the role of Chief Executive Officer of Metal-Tech Limited.  He will continue with the Company in order to facilitate an orderly transition of his responsibilities until 31st March 2008.  The Board has accepted Jonathan’s resignation. 

The Selection and Appointment Committee of the Board has commenced a review of suitable candidates for the role of CFO to replace Jonathan Ben-Cnaan and anticipates making an announcement in this regard shortly.

Bateman Engineering’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Sivi Gounden, commented:

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank Jonathan for the contribution he has made to the Company since joining as CFO in 2002.  This period has seen strong growth in the Company’s financial performance and successful transition into a publicly listed company.  He leaves the company well positioned for continued growth and we wish him every success in his new role as a CEO.”
