Bateman is a supplier of flocculant, coagulant and chemical dosing systems with a focus on design and engineering required for a high quality, practical and long lasting plant for your application.
The flocculant and coagulant plants are able to accommodate both the reagent dosing capacity required for your plant as well as the volumetric flowrate required for effective reagent dispersion. The units allow hydration periods of 2-3 hours for the reagents, and can make-up concentrations of 0,10%-0,25%.
Based on the principals of structural economics, the design favours the relatively low cost of standard tankage to provide adequate hydration volume (and therefore adequate time) over unnecessary mechanical complexity and undesirably high flocculant concentrations. This ensures that the reagent is fully hydrated and allows efficient dispersion of the hydrated polymer into the process.
The hydration volume inherent in all our reagent plants provides the flexibility and capability to adjust make up concentrations within the correct boundaries for the polymer products. In so doing, our design is consistent with both the recommendations and the support of major reagent suppliers. Our reagent plants are packaged to integrate with plant automation and SCADA seamlessly and without any need for specialised installation requirements. The reagent plants offered are fully operational as "stand alone" units.

The Bateman series of reagent and chemical dosing products is available in a range of sizes and can be selected to the needs of your process. Our product design optimises structural economics and provides state-of-the-art operational performance.
The Series includes the following size classes :
- 250 - 230 to 575 litre per hour dosage rate
- 500 - 535 to 1,335 litre per hour dosage rate
- 500 - 1,295 to 3,240 litre per hour dosage rate
- 2000 - 1,900 to 8,000 litre per hour dosage rate
Bateman offers a range of fully automated products for greater capacities. The Pinnacle Series provides capacities from 5,000 to 250,000 litres per hour. All Series and Pinnacle Series designs utilise mechanical agitation, allowing for a range of concentrations to be made up according to the concentration requirements of the customer. The Hydro Power hydrators, which constitute part of these systems are also offered as an independent product range.
